I always read that people say to put such and such on the
desktop, but my desktop is always layered with many,
many open windows so that the desktop is not very
accessible. I have to minimize all of the open programs
(I know it can be done with one keystroke) but it still is
a pain. I keep all my icons on the taskbar (or in folders
on the taskbar) so that I can readily find my icons.

What am I missing in the use of the desktop???
