After installing IE 4.x on NT 4.0 the view option in Explorer can be
selected using the folder options to "Web" or not by choosing custom
settings. I chose this over "Classic style" so that I can use single click
to open folders and execute programs.

However what this does is - it sets the default view style to "Large Icons"
instead of details. However selecting "details" in the view options allows
me to return to the new settings the next time I view the contents of the
folder.

Is there any way I can set "details" as my default view option across all
folders unless I customize that folder to choose otherwise ?

Thanks
