Depends...If you are comfortable with Formating the Hard Drive then NO. (use
FDISK.exe)
If not then YES.

Partitinon Magic v3

Win98 can convert your HD to FAT32 and so large or small partition are both
ok although not really needed if you are doing this to regain lost space.
If you are going to stay with FAT16 then you may whish to repartition your
HD so as not to waste space. Again Win98 can handle big or small partitions.
A side note: I have persoanlly found it MUCH better to install Windows in a
small primary partition say 200mb, and then split my HD into 2 equal halves.
I then Compress one drive and leave one drive uncompressed. In the
Compressed Drive I keep all my user files/Data and any small programs. I
keep all my Large programs in the uncompressed half (eg: MSOffice/CorelDraw)
as well as allocating this as the Swap Disk.
Thus if I need to re-install windows I simply format my Primary drive with
Windows in it and re-install windows again...Some programs may need to be
reinstalled but a lot fewer that if I formated my entire HD. It also renders
back-ups almost useless although I still back-up occasionally to be extra
safe.
Cheers
Kevin
