Mick,

Take a look at Chip Pearson's Excel page. http://www.cpearson.com/excel.htm
From the Topic Index scroll to the list section. You will find one or more
formula that will allow you to compare, extract unique items etc.

Good luck.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Comparing Excel spreadsheets?

Hello

I have 2 Excel spreadsheets. One with 20,000 entries and the other with
14,000. They both list old 45 vinyl records. I want to merge them, but I
don't want to duplicate information. I was wondering is it possible (in
Excel) to compare or cross refer the 2 spread sheets and get a list of items
that do not appear in either one?

TIA ... Mick
