There were several threads on this list concerning using memory managers,
and on setting temporary swap file settings, instead of having Windows
manage the settings.
Having used a number of memory managers, and tried setting the temporary
swap file settings, I recommend setting the temporary swap file settings
as the way to boost performance.
Recommendations for the temporary swap file settings range from 1x to 2x
amount of RAM, depending on amount in system. To set settings go to
Control Panel, System, Performance, Virtual Memory, Let me specify my own
virtual memory.
