You're in a partition created by the Computer maker that contains the files
needed for a system recovery. Don't mess with it.
This is one of the perennial problems with proprietary systems: no OS
install disk and no driver disks (Although I was pleasantly surprised to see
XP install disks with the last few Dells I set up).
Find a friend with an XP disk and install the program from there.
If you don't have any luck with that, I can post a copy on my web site for
you to download.

I copied the contents of the 'warning' panel. It contained the computer
manufacurer logo plus the stuff shown below:

Recovery Partition
Warning!

This area of your hard disk

(or partition) contains files used

for your system recovery.

Do not delete or alter these files.

Any change to this partition could

prevent any recovery later.

I can not proceed past the 'warning'.
