Thanks - I have XP Home Ed. V2002 SP2. Do I remove IE7 BEFORE putting IE6
on?

Click on "Start" then "Control Panel" then "Add or Remove Programs" then
"Windows Internet Explorer 7"

PS: This is what I have on XP PRO. If you have a different operating system,
it may not be the same. It is best to give the operating system when you
ask a question like this - or almost any other question, too!

How do I do this uninstall. I've tried, even tho I'm a novice and it
doesn't seem to want to let me. I am also on Satellite Internet and it
doesn't like me setting up using IE7 so I have to use an old laptop and then
switch to my new one. It's a pain. PLEASE HELP!
Thanks. Carole (Snowbird from Canada in Southern CA)>>>>
Hi,
FWIW you can not remove IE (WHATEVER VERSION)! the only options you have is "repair" or " revert to an earlier version". so if you try removing IE 7 windows will automatically install version 6.????
good luck because a lot of people (not ALL though) are having problems with IE 7
