"How can I transfer her stuff from it's old location to the new? Or is

the = 112k pst folder?"

"Is = there a way to migrate his Contacts, or address settings to his
Address = Book?"

Hi Ian!

Welcome to the world of Outlook! I have struggled with Outlook everytime
I (or a client) gets a new machine. It is quite confusing. The best
resource I know of is Woody's Office site: www.wopr.com Go to Woody's
Lounge in the Quick Links section and look for the Outlook section.
There are many very knowledgeable people about all things Outlook there.

 The following is done through Outlook XP - you mileage may vary. To get
the "right" .pst file opened, go to File/Open/Outlook Data File.
Navigate to what you believe is the right one, then click ok, etc. The
"rude" thing about this is that the Folder list will show both .pst
files at the top. You can indeed copy the .pst file you want on top of
the default .pst file. If you do, you'll have to re-enable the rules.
Why this happens has something to do with the folders having moved -
which they kind of have...

As to the contacts list...ugh. Try this: first, right click on the
Contacts folder in the Folder pane and choose Properties, then click on
the Outlook Address tab. Make sure the "Show this folder as an email
address book" is checked. Also look at what is defined as your address
book. Second, go to Tools/ Email Accounts. In Outlook XP, there is a
choice to change the directory of your address book in here (now that's
weird). So choose that and run through the wizard. This is where it gets
really odd. There is usually a couple of places that Outlook grabs
addresses from, If so, put the Contacts choice (there might even be two
or three of them - remember all those .pst files you found?) at the top
of the list. You can also delete choices (there might be a Personal
address book, a Windows address book...), but I am unsure enough of the
need for those to recommend that. Ok out and you should be at least
working.

HTH!
