Hi Mick,
I won't directly address your specific back up question, as that is a can o
worms. Plenty to chose from. I've been using Outlook since it first was
released. I've used O2K since it was released to this day with no good
reason to upgrade to 03 or whatever version they are on now. As to the data,
I ALWAYS Export and Import as .PST. For me that keeps it in native format
and I lose nothing but rules and other minor settings. Never have been able
to get "Save My Settings" from MS to work. I've moved to new machines,
reformatted many times with out ever a loss. That is to floppies, CDs and
now DVDs. I do that about quarterly. My 2c.

Hello

Having recently lost a lot of info/data from Outlook I've decided it's time
to get serious with back ups. I've always used the export function (to
excel) then stored that on a CDR. However it's too easy to forget to do that
:-)

Therefore my question is:

Is there a back up proggie that will back up all aspects of Outlook and will
do that every time the pc is booted or at regular intervals. Ideally I'd
like it to backup to a CDR or another PC on the network.

Any advise will be appreciated

TIA ... Mick
