Many thanks. I did as suggested but, only the very same addresses on the original mail shows up. in fact I went a step further and forwarded it to myself but the same result for the TO: field.

the only addition by this process was a msg " Virus Scan Result: The attachment(s) being forwarded with this message were scanned for viruses using Trend Micro. No virus(es) were found "
