Steven:
It sounds as if your Mozilla is similar to my Firefox in which case you 
can set your download location preference like this:
Select Edit
Select Preferences
Select Downloads
Choose whether to:
1) Have Firefox ask where the file is to be downloaded every time
2) Have Firefox automatically download the file one of the following:
      a) The desktop (the default)
      b) Your My Downloads folder (my choice)
      c) Some other location
Select OK, and you should be good to go.
