Thank you to Don, David, and Chris for their feedback on the NTFS undelete
options. I thought it would be useful for others if I shared the results of
my experiences.

I did fall for the File-Saver sales pitch and bought it before reading Don's
post. Perhaps I would not have, had I read his post first. As it turned out,
the product I received did not work. HOWEVER *** the technical support from
that vendor is GREAT!!! I sent them a message regarding my problem, and
almost immediately got a response giving me another version of the program.
That new version works great and took care of my situation. It is a
surprisingly small program that does not require installation to use. I love
such applications. For $14.95 I feel it is well worth the cost.

Chris Ryan provided me with a link to a FREE program that also seems to work
well. The price is certainly fair ;) - here is the link:

I don't necessarily endorse either program, but did want to share the
information. Too bad that Norton keeps missing the mark and does not provide
anything approaching such a useful utility.

Peter mentions File-Saver.

Out of curiosity, I had a look at their website. I'd avoid this one for 3
reasons:

1. They beg you to buy before midnight "today Sunday" at a huge apparent
"discount". I've no doubt "today" changes each day you visit--it's an old
sales ploy long discredited. This type of "bait"
advertising is illegal in this country, and I suspect in yours.
