Hello,

I have finally solved this problem! I posted it here some time back and
can't find the original message to reply to, but originally My Computer
would show no drive, control panel, or anything on the first page when
it started up, just a blank white page.

I tried unhiding the drives with TweakUI, tried editing the registry for
the NoDrives key, nothing was working that was suggested to me.

I finally found a link to download Group Policy Editor which isn't
included in Windows XP Home, and installed it. Here is the link:

http://files.filefront.com/GPEdit+Fileszip/;6235551;/fileinfo.html

I had to set the drives as hidden with Group Policy Editor, then set the
setting to hide only the A and B drives [which I don't have], then
reboot, but finally My Computer shows all the drives and control panel
again. Wooohooo!

Later, Ray Parrish
