Subject: [PCSOFT] MS Frontpage

This has been driving me crazy for over a year. I have a web page that I
edit every week, and the formatting is all out of whack. Here's what the
section of the page that's giving me trouble looks like (all left justified,
spaced to the center):

This is the title of the section

The is the first line of data

This is the second line of data
This is the third line of data
                                   The fourth line of data

I want to keep the 2nd-4th line lined up as you can see, but for some
reason, if I have to backspace one of the lines to align it, it moves up to
the previous line. It's like there's no left margin to play with. I've
checked the margins, but all it says is to set it to X pixels. I've tried 0
and 1 but it had no effect. Any ideas???

In addition to familiarizing yourself somewhat with HTML editing as Peter
suggests, you might need to experiment with paragraph formatting in
FrontPage. I'm assuming that if you hit <enter> after each line you wish to
have dressed left, you wind up with too much space between them. When you
click on Format, then paragraph, you are presented with a tab labeled
Indents and Spacing. In the Spacing section (assuming your cursor is in the
first line of the group you want to remain dressed left), set the Before and
After values to 0, and see if that allows you to position the lines of text
the way you want them.
