Thanks Kelly, it seemed like that must be the case.

It's incredible how desperate some of these Internet advertisers must be.
It's like enticing customers into a shop then locking the door to keep them
in.

How pathetic - it'd be funny if it wasn't so annoying.

It's too much fiddling about to keep altering java permissions - easier to
note the site and never return to it.

A program to do that would be handy.  Howabout a little app which recorded
the offending site's URL, then if it sensed you were about to return there,
it'd warn you with pop-up.
