Gene,

You need to tell Outlook that your contacts list is to be shown as an
address book. In the Outlook bar, right click on the Contacts folder and
choose properties. There you will see among the tabs one named address book
or something similar. In that tab is a check box to allow you to have your
contacts seen as an address book.

That should solve your problem, I believe.

BTW, this is for Outlook 2000. Your version may vary in specifics, but you
get the idea.

I moved my outlook.pst file from old computer to new computer.  Both
computers had XP pro OS and Outlook XP.

 I can open the contact list so I know it is there I just can't access it
with the address list.
