Be careful of this program. I was looking for a newer backup program
than my old Veritas Backup Exec and gave Backup MyPC a try. I sometimes
write in Russian and have Cyrillic font enabled. At some point I had
downloaded a file that used the Cerillic font in the file name. I
testing Backup MyPC, I found that it did not back up this Cerillic file!
Contacting Stomp software resulted in zilch because they did not think
it was a problem. My concern is that if the progam skipped this one file
due to the characters in its name, what else may it be missing. Overall,
my experience with Stomp was not very good. Hope you have better luck.

Resolved ! - Thanks to everyone who responded but unfortunately nothing
worked except the following "Gem" I found

Download a programme called Backup MyPC from
http://download.com.com/3000-2242-10118289.html
Note that you only get a 30 day trial free.
Once you have installed it follow the instructions below - it works a
treat.

Start the program and get past the popup windows. Then, go to the
Restore panel and under "restore from" select "file". Then go to
"tools" at the top and select "catalog import". Find the backup file
and you should be ready to restore your files. You have to wonder where
Microsofts head is at sometimes when they miss something as obvious as
this one. Good luck all.
