A friend of mine has Intel Celron 500 Mhz machine with 64 Meg Ram, 10.2 GB HD,
56 K modem etc, etc, but computer works slow, both when it starts and when it loads programs and shuts down too.
After booting up, it has 90 % memory. Can somebody please advise me why it is slow and what can I do to tweak it.
My friend is a novice and she has bought it new.
