IMHO: As a general rule, this type of error is a software conflict
[virtual] and you should try to seek it by elimination. [I don't know
of a simple way]
1. Don't load any programs with autoexec [if you use it]
2. don't have anything in Start Menu > Programs > Starutup.
3. Change video to OAK technology VGA [vanilla]
Problem gone? Put things back in order one at a time to find the
culprit. Still there? go to microsoft tech advice and do a search on
that error line
