i have a dell laptop and i had the same problem..   on your keypad next to Ctrl is a key Fn  push this key and F8 and your screen wll blow out to full size..   and aso make sure in the settings you have the screen resulation size set to 640X860  i believe thats right anyway 256 colrs...   hope this helps
