If you are using Windows XP, while in Outlook Express,
go to Tools, Accounts, Mail and click on properties of the
account.  On the first page it will show your name.   Delete the
last name.

Whenever I send an email, both my first and last name appears in the "From" 
block.  I would prefer just my first name appear because I know many people 
forward these emails without 'cleaning them up' and I don't want the world 
to see my full name.  I don't know how to do this.  I have Internet Explorer 
and Outlook Express.  Any help would be appreciated.   Thank you.    Dottie
