I would try going into Tools-->Services, highlight Internet Mail
service and click 'remove'. Shut down Outlook, and restart.
Open Outlook and try going back in and 'add' the service again.
It may prompt you for the CD. You may have to reconfigure for
your specific settings.

A while back, I downloaded IE6 and started having lockup
problems. I uninstalled it. When I did, it removed my Internet
Mail service from Outlook. Now, when I try to click on Tools,
Services and properties for Internet Mail, it says "This action
could not be completed". Also, when I start Outlook, I get a
message that says:
"Internet email service is not installed properly. Please
reinstall Outlook and specify the 'Corporate or Workgroup' email
service"
I am using W98 se and had Office 97 with Outlook 2000. I have
since installed Office 2000 but the problem is still there. I
didn't see a place to specify the Corporate or Workgroup option.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
