I have adpack.dll on my machine also
system and system32 folder in window 2000 no upgrades have been done from M$
sites..will check out technet though and see what it is..

download that Microsoft wants to put into my machine to make the upgrade

I made that download but after reading about spyware the last week or so
deleted the file and haven't been able to download anything since.
