A neighbor, running Windows 2000 Pro, has the following problem. When he
go to the control panel, clicks on gaming options, selects his joystick and
then clicks on properties (so he can test and calibrate) he receives the
following error:
Internal Error
Necessary support files not found
I have uninstalled and reinstalled all HID devices and controllers,
uninstalled and reinstalled the standard game port, insured he is up to
date on DirectX 8.1 and Service patches.
Does anyone know what support files it might be alluding to? and where the
applet receives the information from?
