Manpreet,

When you create a frame you must also name the frame.
<FRAMESET NAME = "somename" etc.....>
Then when you create a hypertext link you point to the frame's name.
<A HREF="somepage" TARGET ="somename" etc etc...>
CNET has a very good beginner's guide to the HTML language.
Go to www.cnet.com and click the link for AUTHORING
or  maybe it's DESIGNING..... I forget.... but it is in the
bottom left corner of the main page.
