Here are some additional observations. After some problems I got my spare
desktop (XP) up. It has a wireless connection to the router and prints fine
to the P1102W after running the install disk. Interestingly the dialogue on
the disk was somewhat different while installing. Anyway there is one
wireless computer to wireless printer connection operating fine. I did need
to use a MS 871122 patch however to get the wireless network working on the
desktop. I'll try that on the laptop. BTW I assumed one of the other two
printing desktops was talking to the router in order to get to the printer
but I was incorrect. It has a USB connection to the printer and if I unplug
that it doesn't print. I found that surprising because the laptop and my
2nd desktop are plugged into the router directly and they print. That other
computer is also plugged directly into the router so when I disconnected the
USB I assumed it would still print it didn't. Maybe if I reboot after
unplugging the USB it will, I'll have to try that.

Bob
