I think if you re-install it but this time use the custom install option, it
will work a lot better - but only if you do not install some of the
'frivolous' options they've included in this version. I installed it with
just the main virus scan engine plus VShield and the Internet Scan but left
the other stuff behind.

This will probably make a difference to the other members of this forum
who've complained in the past of the extreme slowness of this version and
how it slows their machine down. No wonder when it optionally monitors
almost everything you do - in case you want to restore it some time later.
It's just not worth it.
