Peter: Thanks for the recommendation but It does not work on my OE 5 program. The store location is were my dowloaded current emails are located. I need to change the default for the save function when I want to save an email from OE 5 to My Documents or in my case to the new folder My Docs.
Thanks for your help, Clarence

In OE5, go to Tools/Options/Maintenance and press the Store button. Press
the Change button and select the new location. This is the setup on my
Windows 2000 installation. If it is not available on your system, you may
need to go to the registry and make the change there. Search for Outlook
Express and look for the current folder location, then change it. Be careful
if you do go to the registry.
