Hi,
In response to your query,  try going to the tools menu and choosing
Internet Options,  from there, go to the Advanced tab and scroll down to the
JAVA VM option and select at least the last option (JIT compiler ...)  this
is why configuration and java seems to work fine.  If the third one is
already enabled, try enabling the first two.
