Hi Manpreet:
In a previous message I gave two URLs to look for file splitters.
Most will split a file to your specification of size/location in file etc.
Some will rejoin the fragments back into a single file. The file descriptions
will indicate what that programm is capable of.

Your 4.5 meg file will probably require 4 HD disks after splitting. However if
you use a program like MAXI or FDFORMAT, you can format your 1.44 Mb (3.5")
disks to 1.58 Mb(MAXI) or 1.7 Mb(FDFORMAT) and use fewer disks.

Alternately you can use PKZIP or ARJ (file compressors) to archive the file
onto multiple disks. If your file was not compressed originally, the
compressed archive will fit on fewer disks. Both compression utilities will
produce help screens if you type the name and hit <enter> with no other
parameters.BTW these are all DOS utilities.

The URLs are:

http://garbo.uwasa.fi/pc/fileutil.html
