Shashi,
You problem is SOLVED! Both machines have MS Word which makes the
transfer very easy AND keeps 95%(or more) of all formatting.
On the machine with the newer version of MS Office, create the Word
document, then click FILE - SAVE AS and in the SAVE AS TYPE option box,
select "Word6.0/95". This will allow the older version of Word to read in
the document just as you originally typed it.
By the way, you have some confusion about your version numbers for MS
Office, but everything I said above will work.
