He fiddled with the buttons on the monitor, so that the image is now
smaller than the screen itself. There should be some buttons on the
front of the monitor to adjust it.
Depending on the age of the monitor, either they will be simple dials
like those used to adjust image size, contrast, etc. on a television,
or they will buttons which will take you into some software to make
the adjustments.
You may also have an entrance to the monitor adjustments from your
systray, or the booklet that came with the video card may tell you
how to make the adjustments.
You seem to have a pretty modern system, so this is a good bet:
Control Panel|Display(or some such word)|Advanced. At that point,
depending on your video card, there should be something that says
"Adjustments", or something like that, and there you'll find one for
increasing the size.
