I run a version of Norton System Doctor and had  a similar problem to yours
- the trigger level set on 99%.

I hope this helps you -
Open Norton System Doctor (which shows the icons for your system). Point to
the C: Optimum cion and right click your mouse. Select the Properties box .
In the Alarm tab in the right hand corner, the third option is Auto Triger
Level. Un-tick this option and it should unlock the slide to set a lower
trigger level.
