I have a Micron Plll, 500MHZ computer. I use Win98SE and MSIE 5.1. The last
couple days I have gotten a dialog box appearing out of nowhere that is
titled:
      Internet Explorer Install on Demand
Then the dialog box tells me that "to display language characters correctly
I need to download & install the following components: Pan-European Text
Display Support".
The d/l size is 1.8 MB (I can easily accomodate this). There is a check box
at the bottom that permits me to check "Never download any of these
components".
Do I need these components for any reason? Is there any harm in
downloading? Should I check the Never d/l any....... box?
I'm not sure, but it may be that this dialog box appeared while I was
reading email from this list. Would that matter?
TIA

Mike Williams
