Hi Kathy

I also have a lot of old games. All the one I've tied on my laptop (Win7 32
bit) work. Most work on my desk top (Win7 64 bit) some don't. I just assumed
some will not play in 64 bit.

Hope this helps
Jack

Subject: [PCSOFT] Old software and windows 8

I have a lot of PC games I use to play with Win XP, once I had Vista most
wouldn't run-even in compatibility mode. Now with win 7 again I've got more
that won't play. I keep seeing the win XP mode you can install if you have
Windows 7 ultimate. Is it likely worth upgrading to ultimate(I have home
premium 64 bit) ) so I can do this virtual XP mode=would I be able to run
old XP software? How about Windows 8? Is it compatible with older
software or is it too soon to tell? I'm trying not to have to buy all new
games. Thanks in advance.

Kathy
