1. Go to Control Panel and double click on the Network icon. See what is
listed in your Primary Network Logon. Use Windows Logon.
2. Both these Files are part of Windows and are found in c:\windows\system.
You can repair these files yourself by using the System file checker that is
part of Windows. START/RUN, type in sfc and click ok and the program will
open. Use the second option "Extract one file from installation disk" then
type in the name of one of the files and click Start. Do the same thing for
the second file. It's possible that these files became corrupted.

Subject: [PCSOFT] 2 problems with Windows 98 that bug me
2 problems with Windows 98 really bug me, I have tried to get rid of both
of them with little success and I could really use some help:
1. W 98 opening up with request for Network password.
2. Whenever I open a new program, I get the following Error Message which
lasts and lasts:
"The following system files have been replaced with older versions by a
program you recently ran. These files are currently in use and cannot be
automatically repaired.
Windows may not run correctly until you exit and restart Windows so that
these files can be automatically repaired."
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COMMCTRL.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\LZEXPAND.DLL
Many thanks,
