  My father recently tried to update his Windows ME system to IE 6.0, and 
couldn't make it work, so he has reverted to 5.5.
  Unfortunately, he uses OE for his email, so it came along for the ride -- 
and now he can't see any saved emails further back than last Monday.  He can 
find the .pst file, he just can't seem to get OE to see it and open it.

  Bearing in mind that *I* know very little about OE, can anyone who is 
familiar with its quirks suggest what to try (or what more information is 
needed) to get him back to where he should be?
