IP addresses are dynamic, and I don't know that XP actually has a file
for them. You could try looking for a router log, but it's easy enough
to find using ipconfig.
Open a command prompt, type ipconfig.
You could also try   www.whatismyip.com if you're behind a router and
want your 'real" address.
