Hey,

I'm using a Canon FB 620U scanner with Xerox TextBridge Plus.  After I scan 
a document and select an area with the text tool, the saved text file 
appears only as follows:  "ÿ"
If anyone is familiar with this software, can you please help troubleshoot 
the situation.
Also, can anyone recommend some decent freeware/shareware OCR software?
