To my knowledge FAT32 cannot be installed on a FAT16 drive without total
destrucitve formatting because you must FDISK the H.D. After that nothing
is left on the drive...not even the old format...so you must reformat the
drive. I am using FAT32 on Win95b and can run any type of games or apps. I
even run Starflight 1 sometimes to remember old times. FAT32 allows larger
Hard Disks than FAT16 without the need to create multiple partitions. As
far as I can tell the amount of HD space is not that much but disk access
is pretty good.
