I made my own template to produce a 3-column bulletin where each column is a
text box. The text boxes are linked so that as the first one gets filled, it
spill over into the next one. This seems to be similar to what you are
looking for. My template includes an image of our church logo at the
beginning. You can have an image anyplace that you want, just have it
outside of the text box.
You can create a template of your own simply by creating a document with the
layout you want and then save it as a ".dot" file (template) rather than a
".doc". When you want to use the template, just start by double-clicking on
the template, or start a new document and select the template from the
"file/new" dialog.
If you want a sample template to look at, contact me off-list and I will
send you one of mine.

-----Original Message-----
I trying to help out with a news bulletin and they want me to try and use a
newsletter template in Word (I have 2002). I have a Word document that has
9 paragraphs, 41 lines (over 2K characters with spaces) and a .gif file.
The template I want to use is the "Newsletter" template, which has 3 text
boxes in 3 columns (side by side) on each page.. I was wondering if anyone
has used Word templates before and what's the best way to fit the text and
gif into 3 side by side text boxes...
