My problem of computer becoming inoperable was correctly diagnosed by
this group as attributed to Zone Alarm. Thanks. I followed the
complicated Zone Labs procedure for uninstalling Zone Alarm, and
operation has been restored.

Can I safely reinstall Zone Alarm? If so, should I reinstall latest
version of Zone Alarm, or try to find an earlier version? Problem started
after downloading update for Zone Alarm. Win98, IE5.5.
