I've personally found that the easiest way to move files (as opposed to
programs) is to either a) set up a network between the two computers, or
b) remove the hard drive from the old computer and put it as a slave in
the new machine. Which route to takes depends on *why* you are getting
a new machine. I just did (b) on a machine where the motherboard died,
but the hard drive was fine, so we upgraded to a much better machine.

> Hello all. I am getting a new computer and would like to know how the best way to move all my documents, pictures, etc. to the new computer. My files are too large to backup onto a CD as I've tried. They are even too large for a 128 mb thumb drive (or whatever they are called). Thanks for any advice. DB
