I just set up a Win2000 box as a development station and networked it to my
Win98. It is mostly working in that the 2000 box can see and copy the
files on the 98 box. The problem is that the 98 box can see the 2000 box,
but it gets a permission errors response when I try to open it. Both have
file sharing enabled with complete permissions.
What setup is not complete? The network is just the two boxes with a 4
port hub. As soon as this is fixed, I will be networking in another 98 box.
The networked 98 box has an ISDN modem on the serial port. Is there any
way for the 2000 box to get the 98 box to dial the modem and connect to the
Internet?
