I have used CDRWin to make o/s bootable backups but the free trial version
is also at 1x.
Lately Nero 5.5xx has a decent cd to cd copy program that should make
backups of your cd's.
While I don't do much of this, I have used mostly Nero, but also others such
as CDRWin, CloneCD, RSJ.
I would think you would choose Raw mode, but again ask more experienced
users. Try CDR-Forum search www.Google for "CD Burning".
