Buzz, I also have IE 5.5, and whenever I have a problem the first thing I do
is go to add/remove programs in my control panel.  I hit "remove" then a
window opens up that offers me some choices.  I check "repair internet
explorer"  then I have to reboot and then the problem is gone.
