This is normal. The window has always been there, but may previously have
been covered up by the startup logo.
You can set it to show or not by editing the file msdos.sys. Open it in
notepad and set Bootmenu to 1 (on) or 0 (off). Save before you exit.
It is best to have it on, in case you ever need to start in dos, or restart
in Safe Mode, essential after a system crash. You won't save any boot time
by turning it off.
