Great info! And actually you hit on my problem with: One caveat - XP
does not support burning VCD or DVD,however the burning software included with
CD/DVD drives often supports that.
When I reformatted this old Compaq (xp sp2) I didn't have the cd burner's
orig. software disc and thought nothing of it since it seemed to work fine with
xp's drivers. I guess that's the reason after I set up the slideshow, my
"burn to disc" option is greyed-out. I'll try downloading from HP and if that
doesn't do it, I'll move to my home-built machine whose cd and dvd burners'
software I DO have.
