Thanks for the input from the list.
This was a printer driver "setting" problem.
I had tried the following, but due to incorrect procedures,
testing, etc. I "missed" clearing this up on the first several
"go-rounds". (I did not close programs, etc., to re-map fonts.)

In some circumstances, certain applications can cause problems
with your (Xerox DocuPrint P8) printer when the document uses
typefaces installed in Adobe Type Manager software (ATM) or
TrueType. If you have both font engines, you could also run
into substitution problems.
Turning the TrueType checkbox on speeds up handling of True
Type fonts by sending them as text. With this option off,
fonts are handled as graphics. This can be useful if you are
printing over a network to a server that does not have the
same typeface you are using on your workstation PC. Since
the data is sent as graphics, you do not run into font
substitution problems. *****
