David,

My suggestion is to dump Norton AV and get Avast AV. Avast is free and in
my opinion, superior. Do a google search for it. About two years ago I
uninstalled my Norton AV, installed Avast and never looked back.

Norton AV can cause problems on many computers. If you have the entire
Norton suite (Systemworks) even more problems might ensue. (Conflicts, loss
of OS speed, etc.) So if you have Norton Systemworks, V-Com's "Fix -It" is
a good replacement having many of the same tools. I costs bucks like
Systemworks but causes me no problems.

Good luck

J. Dent
